Rosé Geode, The World's Sands

Epoxy resin is a two-component system consisting of resin and hardener. By mixing the two components, a chemical reaction takes place, and the liquid resin gradually hardens into a solid plastic. Mixing the resin with color and metallic powders unleashes its magic and can be used to create amazing glossy surfaces. I am hooked on the beauty of this medium, use it for my art, and have built benches and tables finished with a colorful, shiny surface.

This specific geode is made from more than a hundred crystals and is also a memory of many beautiful places. The pigments of the geode's colorful pigments are sands from all over the world. In memory of my father.
